How to watermark images in bulk

  1. 1
    Upload your watermark

A transparent PNG works best — your logo, signature, or any graphic. Upload it under the Watermark 1 tab in Preview mode.

  2. 2
    Customise placement

Choose diagonal repeat, tiled, or single placement. Adjust opacity, size, angle, and offset in real time against a test image until it looks right.

  3. 3
    Switch to Bulk Process

Drop in all your images at once. Set the output format (WebP recommended) and quality, then process and download as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device and nothing is sent to any server. EXIF metadata (including GPS location, camera model, and copyright fields) is also automatically stripped from outputs — the Canvas API only transfers pixel data, so no metadata from the original file survives in the exported image.
What image formats are supported?
You can upload PNG, WebP, or JPEG images. Output can be WebP (recommended for photos — smaller at equivalent quality), PNG (lossless, best for graphics), or JPEG (widest compatibility).
How many images can I watermark at once?
There is no hard limit. Performance depends on your device — most modern computers handle hundreds of images without issue.
Can I use a logo as a watermark?
Yes. Export your logo as a PNG with a transparent background and upload it as the watermark image. Adjust opacity and size to taste.
Can I add two different watermarks?
Yes. The tool supports a primary watermark (tiled or diagonal repeat pattern across the full image) and a secondary watermark (single placement at a fixed position) applied simultaneously.
Can I save my watermark settings?
Yes. Use the Presets section in the controls panel to save up to three named presets. Presets are stored in your browser's local storage and persist between sessions. You can also export settings to a JSON file and import them on another device.
What are blend modes and which should I use?
Blend modes control how the watermark pixels mix with the image underneath. Normal overlays the watermark opaquely (adjusted by opacity). Multiply darkens — good for light images. Screen lightens — good for dark images. Overlay and Soft Light add contrast-aware mixing for a more natural look. Normal at 20–40% opacity works for most use cases.
Can I reposition the watermark by dragging?
Yes, in Single placement mode. Switch to single mode in the controls, then drag the watermark directly on the preview canvas to position it. The position is saved as an offset and applied to all bulk-processed images.
Does it work on mobile?
The tool works on mobile browsers, though it is optimised for desktop use. Bulk processing large images is faster on a desktop or laptop.
